what is your approach to photography and capturing weddings / elopements?
I am a documentary-style photographer, shooting a mix of digital photography, vintage polaroids & 35mm film.
I also offer super8 video packages — available to book separately, or can be added on top of any photography service.
what is a “documentary” style photographer?
I focus on capturing honest, raw and authentic imagery.
I want to tell your story in the most real way possible, documenting your day as it unfolded - not overtly posed or planned. (I am still here to help ease and direct, as needed).
photography to me has always been about connection — seeing moments of beauty & art together, and documenting those moments in as honest and real of a way as possible.
when will we receive our photos?
for weddings & elopements, 6-8 weeks to put the finishing touches on your images. (possibly 8-10 weeks during the busy season).
for engagements, lifestyle, brand & portrait sessions, 2-3 weeks.
how many photos will we receive? and how are they delivered to us?
your final images will be delivered to you in the form of a private, online gallery. from there, you will be able to download, share, save any + all the images!
depending on the event or session coverage, you can expect 500 - 1,200 for weddings & elopements, and ~100+ for portrait, lifestyle and engagement sessions.
I feel camera shy about my wedding / session…
my goal is that you and your partner can exhale and focus on each other on your big day, not a camera or your photos. I want to fade into the background and let you experience the fullness of your day.
my hope is to be as non-invasive as possible, which helps capture real and honest memories. imagine a guest with a camera to witness & preserve your love for years to come.
where are you based? and do you travel?
I am currently based out of Austin, Texas and absolutely, I travel! frequently for weddings and various events, and it’s one of my favorite things to do.
if your wedding/session/session involves travel outside of Austin, I will put together associated travel costs, to be included with your overall photography package.
*no associated travel costs within 50 miles of Austin/Waco/DFW.
so, how do we book you?
first, fill out my inquiry form on the “contact” page of my website to begin the process.
from there, I will share my wedding guide and we can jump on an optionl phone call (or meet in-person for coffee or a cocktail if you are local!) to chat any questions you may have.
after our call/reviewing my wedding guide, if you would like to book, I require a 50% retainer payment and a signed contract to officially secure your date on my calendar!
