i’m aubrey — a documentary film photographer, based out of austin, texas.

i feel most like myself when my creative bones are engaged and at work. my photography and creative passions are inspired deeply by the “art of noticing,” and I seek to capture the subtle beauty in every day moments, preserving their joy & magic.

i have always been prone to nostalgia, and photography + documenting is a way for me to remember, when my mind and life happening around me can be so fleeting.

my inspirations come from shooting personal projects on film & super8, my backyard flower garden, mary oliver, time spent by the ocean, traveling, changing seasons, watching films, the California coast, vintage national geographics, swimming in natural waters, wes anderson color palettes, movement, henri matisse & georgia o’keefe, sunlight, and forever my dearest muse; mother nature.
