bodega los alamos | a natural wine bar and 1920s farmhouse in the santa ynez valley
I remember the first time I learned about Bodega , in the quaint Santa Ynez Valley.
they have a greenhouse on their property that I was simply mesmerized by, and had quickly added it to my bucket list over the years of places to visit. I mean come on, a natural wine bar, PLUS the most beautiful greenhouse i’d ever seen? I had to go.
and go we did!
we made our way up from LA, and the coastal views slowly changed into the most beautiful rolling hills of vibrant green. the locals said in a few short weeks, the greens would give way to the dried golden yellow they are most year round, until the next Spring’s rains come. they said we were lucky to be in the region when we were, and it sure did feel like it.
we had the honor of staying at & photographing the wine bar and their on-site 1920s renovated farmhouse, Bodega House.
